When regular TV programmes aren’t enough…
…, thank goodness for YouTube and a whole bunch of hilarious shows from the UK! Shows that are currently getting me glued to my laptop screen are…
- 8 out of 10 cats - Just lurve Jimmy Carr! K, he does have a somewhat irritating face and scary eyebrows, but he’s still fun to watch. On one episode they were commenting about the Live Earth and the Diana concerts, and Jimmy said something like the Diana concert was essentially celebrating one less car on the road… seems so wrong to laugh, but I couldn’t help it!
- Would I lie to you? - learnt that Dom Joly (the trigger happy tv guy) went to the same school as osama! David Mitchel is damn funny too!
- Have I got news for you - especially the episodes with Jeremy Clarkson (sidenote: was is boarders today and found both Clarkson’s and Carr’s book… can’t decide which one to read first). Even when they talk about british issues that we don’t hear about, it’s still very funny.
- Never mind the buzzcocks - Simon Amstel makes it funny… better than the older seasons. How come gay guys are always so funny??
Of cause, I always have my stash of Top Gear (just got the older season 2 and 3 episodes… that’s 8 seasons to keep me entertained) and QI (4 great seasons to watch and re-watch)!
